Everyone loves saying "Quality over Quantity."

It sounds smart.

Like something your high school art teacher would cross-stitch on a pillow and hang above the whiteboard.

It's also wrong and hurting your progress, big time.

The truth: it’s the reverse.

Quantity > Quality

Speed beats perfect. Every time.

I've launched e-comm stores,

a moving service,

and a newsletter,

that if you scroll back far enough reads like a chatbot trained on Gary Vee and Red Bull commercials.

Did those early businesses work? Nope.

Does my old content make me cringe? Absolutely.

That's proof that I didn't sit in a corner polishing a pitch deck nobody ever saw.

But here's the catch...

Quantity only works if you're actuallyĀ learningĀ from the mess you're making.

If you're just failing on repeat like a golden retriever walking into the same glass door, that's not strategy.

The game changes when failure becomes data.

When you stop asking "why did this flop?" as a self-pity exercise and start asking it like a scientist…

Cold, curious, and ready to test again.

Because then? More failures = more learning = more progress.

My own content is proof.

Pull up my posts from a year ago. I'll cringe so hard my face might fall off.

The hooks were weak. The formatting was rough. The ideas were half-baked and slightly undercooked.

That’s the evidence of growth, coming directly from playing the game of Quantity.

Had I been precious about it?

Fewer posts. Less engagement. Slower feedback loops.

More time stuck inside my head, making assumptions…

Which is our absolute worst enemy as founders and creators.

The market will always know more than your brain does sitting alone at a laptop at 11pm.

Here's the bottom line:

You need reps.

Quality will come. It always does. But onlyĀ afterĀ you've put in quantity.

More ads.

More DMs.

More emails.

More content.

Quality can’t help but follow along.

Trust me, your first go is gonna suck.

And over time, it will suck less.

That goes for everything in business…

→ hiring

→ marketing

→ sales

→ ops

You name it - it applies.

So if you learn one thing from this post…

Stress less about quality, and worry more, about doing more.

That’s how you get quality.
