Founders that want to scale shouldn’t work in the business more than 4 days per week.
I’m not saying to have 3-day weekends…
I mean, they need at least one full day to work ON the business.
Too many founders are frustrated with their progress but spend little to no time on growth. They confuse working IN vs. ON the business.
To scale you need to work on lead flow, improve conversions, increase LTV, optimize pricing, implement new systems, network, etc.
And the only way to do this is by
⬇️ reducing day-to-day responsibilities
⬆️ increasing time spent on projects like these
If you’re working 5-7 days a week IN the business putting out fires and delivering to clients, you’re not going to grow your business and you will stay stuck + frustrated.
So how do you reduce time spent working IN the business? There are only two ways…
1. Automation
2. Delegation
That’s really it. And both are possible with the right systems. That’s why when working with clients we often first focus on these two so that we can create time to focus on growth.
→ Automation = process map + right tools + integrated CRM
→ Delegation = SOPs + Accountability system
Then you can work on solving funner problems - Less responsibilities and more projects.
But it all starts with systems that make you more replaceable.
Until you can at least dedicate 1 full workday to work ON your business (without compromising weekends) this should be your primary focus.
See you all next Thursday 👋
