I was speaking to a client whoâs been upgrading his operational systems and was now ready to put more through the machineâŠ
In other words, ready to take on more clients. Specifically, 8 new clients per month (2 per week).
I asked him what his closing rate was, he said â40%â.
Well then, the math is simple. He needed to generate an additional 20 sales calls per month with qualified prospects.
How do we generate an additional 10 sales calls per month?
I explained, âWe just need to talk to more peopleâ.
He looked at me funny, and I repeated âMore conversationsâ. This is what it all comes down to.
Too many are waiting around for leads to come to them begging for their services. This is not how it works for most businesses.
The problem with inbound is that itâs unpredictable and hard to scale.
This can be frustrating to accept because it takes work. But in reality, itâs a really good thing... It means lead flow is in our control!
And once we start to streamline and automate the outreach process, it becomes easier because you remove yourself and your emotions from the process.
Want more leads? Turn up the dial and have more conversations with potential prospects.
Of course, like anything else, there are great and poor ways of doing it.
âI donât do any outreach. How do I get started?â - Social media is a great place to start:
1. Get clear on your âPerfect Clientâ
2. Pick a platform
3. Optimize your bio
4. Post 2x per week (at least) to start pre-selling your audience
5. Start more conversations with potential clients

When you can wake up to a handful of leads in your DMs, itâs a beautiful thing.
But my point is, you donât have a leads problem. You have a systems problem.
Outreach â Conversations â Sales Calls / Sell By Chat â Clients
âBut we already do outreachâ - Like Alex Hormozi always says⊠Do more. Do it better. Then try something different.
Different could be another platform, a different funnel, cold email, ads, webinars, etc. But it all leads to the same thing. More conversations.
So if you want to double revenue, double the number of conversations youâre having.
