A lot of founders make this rookie mistake when they start posting online:
They think strangers will storm their DMs like Black Friday shoppers at WalmartâŚ
âŚbegging to buy whatever theyâre selling.
I wish it worked like that. I really do.
But it doesnât.
Weâve been posting daily on multiple platforms for years.
And hereâs the cold, unsalted truth:
Only 21% of our leads have come from inbound.
(And thatâs actually good compared to most.)
Not bad. But not âletâs-pop-the-champagneâ levels.
Weâve seen this even with clients rocking 300k+ followers.
Where inbound leads are only a small piece of the pie.
More than you and I combined, sure.
But not enough to pay their bills or maintain growth.
Yet we all continue to post content anywayâŚ
on multiple platformsâŚ. every weekâŚ
Including this newsletter.
Why?
Because weâve learned the truth:
â Content doesnât create leads
â Content supports your lead gen
â Content builds trust after you start the conversation
Itâs what makes a prospect thinkâŚ
âOkay⌠this person isnât just making stuff up. They actually know their thing.â
Significantly increasing conversions and LTV.
So yes â post your content.
But donât solely rely on it.
Pair it with something active:
â Ads
â DMs
â Cold emails
â Offers to your list
â Carrier pigeons if you must
Because posting with no outreach?
Thatâs like fishing with no bait.
See you all next Thursday đ
