Most people jump between 10 lead gen systems, don’t let any of them simmer, and then wonder why they’re still hungry for results.
Focus. One funnel at a time.
So, how do you know which lead gen system deserves your attention?
Let me show you the blueprint that worked for me, in the order that I wish I’d known…
→ Lead Gen System 1: Content Creation (at least weekly)
It’s slow in the beginning. Real slow.
Think of it as planting a tree. No fruit right away, but when it grows, it supports everything else.
Trust me - start this process now, thank yourself later.
Which platform? Start where you’re comfy.
Text is easier than video, and short form is easier than long form. So LinkedIn or Twitter is a great place to start.
→ Lead Gen System 2: Warm Outreach (daily)
Your content is brewing, and slowly but surely, people will start engaging.
Those folks? They’re warm leads. Slide into their DMs, find out why they’re lurking, and offer a hand.
→ Lead Gen System 3: Cold Outreach (daily)
Run out of warm bodies? It’s time to break the ice with people who don’t know you (yet).
After all… You can’t scale predictably only relying on referrals.
My go-to? LinkedIn Outreach. Pay for Sales Navigator, build your list, and fire away.
Manual or automated - it’s your call, but my clients and I are all about automation.
Need even more leads? Hit up cold email. It’s trickier to set up, but it’s like cracking open an unlimited buffet of prospects.
→ Lead Gen System 4: Paid Ads (daily)
By now you’re…
- creating content (at least weekly)
- reaching out to warm leads (daily)
- hitting up cold prospects (daily)
and now you’re ready to throw some gas on the fire with paid ads.
It’s my favorite because once you crack the code, it’s like printing money.
Here’s the funnel I use to get leads for $2-5:
1. Build a lead magnet and landing page 2. Set up a thank-you page with a call to action to book a call 3. Run a simple Facebook ad promoting the lead magnet 4. Set up a 7-email sequence to warm up your audience, ending with an offer
Work these systems in order until sales or delivery is the next bottleneck for growth.
