The sales vs. ops trap (most founders fall in)

But here’s the cold truth:

If your pipeline is dry, there’s nothing to optimize.

I’ve been there—trying to “streamline” my way out of an empty calendar.

That’s why operations is just one of three pillars we focus on in my program:

Because ops will always look like the bottleneck… even when it’s not.

Most founders get tripped up:

- They optimize ops before they’ve signed enough clients

- Build complex funnels before proving traffic even works

- Automate a process with little-to-no friction

The big question…

How do you really know if operations is slowing you down?

Ask yourself these three questions:

→ 1. Do you have a central database of all leads and clients?

If not, get a CRM. Scaling without one is like running a marathon in flip-flops. I promise you’ll fall.

→ 2. Can you handle 50% more clients today?

Example: You’ve got 6 clients—could you onboard 3 more without dropping balls or pulling your hair out?

→ 3. Is your billing automated?

If you’re chasing invoices or approvals, you need to switch to a recurring billing model (yes, even your offer can do it). It increases LTV and puts a lot less stress on client acquisition.

If you answered yes to all three, congrats—you likely don’t have an operations problem.

But you definitely have a leads or sales problem…
