Let me say this with love…
Nobody cares… about you.
Not your bio.
Not your “10 years of experience.”
Not your “award-winning framework.”
Not even your cute logo that cost $2,000 and a leg.
People wake up thinking about one thing…
Me.
Their bills.
Their weight.
Their boss.
Their leads.
Their stress.
Their dog who ate the couch again.
And then we show up like…
“Hi! I’m a certified level-7 quantum growth ninja with a passion for scalable synergy.”
Cool.
But their brain is busy screaming:
“CAN YOU HELP ME OR NOT?”
You see, most people market the wrong way…
“I started my journey in 2014…”
“My mission is to empower…”
“I believe in excellence…”
But it’s like walking into a burning house and saying:
“Before we begin, let me tell you about my fire hose.”
You gotta flip the script…
Instead of:
“I help businesses grow with strategic solutions.”
Try:
“Tired of getting leads that ghost you like a bad date?”
Instead of:
“I’m a fitness coach with a proven system.”
Try:
“Jeans feel tight? Shirt fighting for its life?”
Instead of:
“I build high-converting funnels.”
Try:
“Traffic coming in… but sales hiding under the bed?”
See the shift? It’s not about you.
It’s about the problem living rent-free in their head.
When someone reads your words and thinks:
“Wait… are they spying on me?”
You win.
Because now you’re not talking at them.
You’re talking about them.
And that feels good. Like someone finally gets it.
So here’s your new rule…
Before you post, write, pitch.
Ask this:
“Is this about me… or about them?”
If it’s about you, cut it in half.
If it’s about them, double it.
Talk about:
- their fear
- their dream
- their stuck spot
- their late-night Google searches
Then show how you help.
Remember… your audience is not looking for a hero.
They are looking for help.
Talk about their storm.
Then hand them an umbrella.
Do that… and people will start to listen (a lot more).

“Yep. I’ve been talking about myself this whole time.”
