One of our clients said something super real this week:
“I hate sending emails that feel salesy...
it's painful. Like I’m bothering people.”
You ever feel like that?
When even though you know you can help…
reaching out still feels pushy?
I’ll tell you what I told my client because it’s super important…
People came to you. And asked for help.
→ They joined your list → They booked a call → They needed you
You’re not bothering them.
You’re reminding them:
“Hey, still need help with that problem?”
That’s not salesy. That’s kind.
They had a real problem that needed to be solved,
and not following up is actually a disservice to everybody.
Sales isn’t about forcing someone to say yes.
It’s about giving them a chance to say it.
I explained this and convinced my client to send the emails...
37 replies later… she’s booking work again.
And guess what?
→ She still made the messages personal → Still followed up like a human → A human who cares
So if selling feels weird…
try shifting how you see it.
You’re not selling. You’re helping.
And to help, you need to stay top of mind.
The more you sell → The more you help
See you all next Thursday 👋
